I had been a writer in the travel industry for two decades when, like so many others in 2020, my world was turned upside down. Work slowed to a trickle, then stopped completely. Without any clear prospects for the future, I spent a lot of time soul-searching: What did I really want to do with the rest of my life? What would bring me joy and true satisfaction? How could I contribute something meaningful to the world and help it be a better place?

The answer to all of those questions lay in a script about a 12-year-old girl and her adventures in a fantasy world based in Native American mythology. I first wrote Coin Trick years ago, when I had dreams of becoming a Hollywood screenwriter – dreams that were dampened mostly by my own fears, but never fully extinguished. So, viewing this current upheaval as a fresh opportunity, I decided to turn the script into a narrative podcast series and produce it myself. 

 

That decision has been transformational in untold ways – beginning with the creation of this production company. Coin Trick itself has transformed—from a podcast to a book, from a means to simply prove something to myself to a vehicle for real change.

 

It is my goal and sincere desire for FULL POTENTIAL MEDIA to create such change in everything we do, for our listeners and our world.
